ABOMINATIONS OF GOD - PART II

For “all” that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord

Deut. 18:9  When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. [10] There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, [11] Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. [12] For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee. [13] Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God. [14] For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the Lord thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.

[15] The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; [16] According to all that thou desiredst of the Lord thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not. [17] And the Lord said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. [18] I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. [19] And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. [20] But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. [21] And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken? [22] When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

Divination = qecem, Hebrew 7081, Strong’s

Divination = qecem, keh'-sem; from Hebrew 7080 (qacam); a lot; also divination (including its fee), (reward of divination, un-holy sentence), witchcraft.

An observer of times = anan, Hebrew 6049, Strong’s

anan, aw-nan; a primitive root; to cover; used only as denominative from Hebrew 6051 (anan), to cloud over; figurative to act covertly, i.e. practise magic × bring, enchanter, Meonemin, observe (of) times, soothsayer, sorcerer.

Enchanter = nachash, Hebrew 5172, Strong’s

Enchanter = nachash, naw-khash; a primitive root; properly to hiss, i.e. whisper a (magic) spell; generally to prognosticate × certainly, divine (as in divining an un-holy thing, as a divining practitioner or used with a divining rod), enchanter, (use) × enchantment, learn by experience, × indeed, diligently observe.

CHANTS, THE SAME STATEMENT(S) SAID OVER AND OVER

TO THE POINT OF MESMERIZING, WHICH CAN FURTHER

BECOME HYPNOTIZING IF REPEATED LONG ENOUGH AND IS NOT GLORIFYING TO ALMIGHTY GOD

Acts 16:16  And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: [17] The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. [18] And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

The damsel, possessed with an unclean spirit of divination, grieved Apostle Paul and followed Apostle Paul many days making statements (mocking Apostle Paul and God), to her masters, saying “these men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.”

Most people would ask ‘What was wrong with the statement that the damsel was saying?’ even though what the damsel was repeatedly chanting for many days, was correct?

The answer is: she was making mockery of Apostle Paul, Barnabus and especially, “God.” The damsel was  chanting (soothsaying and promoting the devil) constantly, and even though what she said was about God, it was still enticing the people into worshipping the devil!

Please notice that the word Chant is involved with the definitions and explanation (descriptions involved) above, as well as below!

AN EXAGGERATED EXAMPLE OF A CHANT THAT WOULD NOT NECESSARILY BE GLORIFYING TO GOD OR FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE UPLIFTING OF THE SAINTS OF GOD!

IF I WAS TO TYPE THE NEXT THREE PAGES SAYING NOTHING BUT THE WORDS,

JESUS, JESUS, JESUS, JESUS, JESUS, JESUS, JESUS, JESUS AND NOTHING BUT JESUS FOR THE NEXT THREE PAGES, within a very short time you would become quite bored (although His  Name is Wonderful), and it would not necessarily be very meaningful to you. However, Jesus Christ is a wonderful name and a blessing to write about and to say!

You must admit that the Name of Jesus can be abused, misused and misapplied!

Also, we that have received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, do have power to quench the Holy Ghost, therefore having power over the Holy Ghost.   1 Thessalonians 5:14  Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. [15] See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. [16] Rejoice evermore. [17] Pray without ceasing. [18] In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. [19] Quench not the Spirit. [20] Despise not prophesyings. [21] Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. [22] Abstain from all appearance of evil.

I DO NOT WISH TO GO INTO ANY OF THESE SO STATED ANY MORE IN DETAIL, OTHER THEN WHAT HAS ALREADY BEEN DECLARED!

2 Cor. 6:16  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. [17] Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, [18] And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. [7:1] Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Proverbs 4:13  Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life. [14] Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. [15] Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away. [16] For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall. [17] For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.

[18] But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. [19] The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. [20] My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. [21] Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. [22] For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

IF YOU REFUSE TO OBEY GOD

Romans 1:18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; [19] Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. [20] For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: [21] Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. [22] Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, [23] And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

[24] Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: [25] Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. [26] For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: [27] And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. [28] And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; [29] Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, [30] Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, [31] Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: [32] Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

[2:1] Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. [2] But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. [3] And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? [4] Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? [5] But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; [6] Who will render to every man according to his deeds: [7] To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: [8] But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, [9] Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; [10] But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: [11] For there is no respect of persons with God.

WHEN THE MAN OF GOD

As well as “God’s Word” itself has shown you things which are evil, commanding you to not do those evil things which are evil, nor approve of them, which are Abominations unto God, why tempt God?

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. [16] For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. [17] And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

YOU CANNOT PLAY WITH THE THINGS OF THE DEVIL

AND EXPECT ALMIGHTY GOD TO APPROVE

OF THEM

Almighty God has NOT changed His mind! What used to be a sin and an abomination unto Almighty God, is STILL an abomination unto God! Malachi 3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.

[2] But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' sope: [3] And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness. [4] Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years. [5] And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the Lord of hosts. [6] For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

DO YOU FEAR GOD?

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Romans 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.   1 John 2:13 I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father. [14] I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.

1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. Revelation 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Rev. 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: [4] And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. [5] And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

[6] And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. [7] Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

Rev. 22:12  And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. [13] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. [14] Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Rev. 22:16  I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.  [17] And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

[18] For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: [19] And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

[20] He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

[21] The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

HAVE YOU REPENTED OF YOUR SINS AND TRANSGRESSIONS AGAINST GOD?

ARE YOU READY TO MEET (STAND BEFORE HIM), GOD?

WON’T REPENTANCE AND RECEIVING JESUS CHRIST BE WORTH IT ALL WHEN YOU SEE JESUS CHRIST, FACE TO FACE?

WOULDN’T repenting of your sins and confessing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour BE WORTH HEARING JESUS, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD SAY, as He did in Matthew 25:21

His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Just think! No more guilt, no more shame, just forgiven and

your name written in the book of life!

HERE IS HOW IT CAN BE DONE!

SAY (pray to the Lord out loud).

Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and I now ask you to forgive me and be my Lord and Saviour.

I do believe in my heart that you died on the cross, shed your blood for my sins and that God our Heavenly Father raised you from the dead and brought you back to life again. Lord Jesus, I know that you are alive for evermore and thank you for forgiving me of my sins. I now ask that you come into my heart and help me to live for you. Amen and amen !

Romans 10:9

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:11

For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. [12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. [13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Next = I suggest that you find a Church and a Minister of the Gospel that will baptize you as soon as possible (to baptize means to be submerged).  An outward sign of inward cleansing and a public testimony to all!

Matthew 28:19

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: [20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Matthew 3:11

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: [12] Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

[13] Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. [14] But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? [15] And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

Glory to God in the Highest!

Anathema Maranatha!
